Carrie & Dave Cover "American Girl"

I got together earlier this week to record a couple songs with my super talented friend Carrie. I've been wanting to cover this Tom Petty song since Petty passed away last year, and have tried working on versions with a few different musicians. But I'm really happy this version got recorded-- Carrie does such great harmonies, and doing a softer acoustic version really brings it home. We had a super fun time recording this, too-- I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
