This morning they announced the nominees for the 2016 Academy Awards! Considering how few films I saw this year (compared to other years), I'm surprised that there are only two Best Picture nominees that I've missed so far: "The Big Short" and "Room". My goal every year is the see all the Best Picture nominees before the nominations come out, but since they've expanded the category, I've had a hard time doing it. But I should be able to get them in before the ceremony on February 28th.
I'll reserve making listing my picks until I've seen those last two films, but what do you think? Do you have any films or actors you're pulling for? Let me know in the comments section.
