My friend Bob and I have been working on musical project about a dysfunctional family reunion. We're currently a bit stalled, having written three songs but haven't done much for the last several months. We've only recorded one of the tunes, this one kind of setting the stage for the rest of the story. I've been playing this song a lot live and haven't listened to the recording for a while, so it's a bit jolting to hear it as fully produced as it is-- though pleasantly so.
